Ideas that I’ve had / things I want to do

  1. imaginary sprites (sprites that ARENT being rendered properly) with their material being a displacement map, so you can see that they're there, but you can't see what they are, and the box surrounding them be like the AI prediction boxes so as it gets closer it gives a %likelyhood of what it is then if it touches you you take damage idk smn like this !! but the character ISNT there, just the displacement of it

  1. I’d like to change out the star / space theme for something a bit looser / free-er Leo is really into webcore and that is pretty lose so I can have a bit more freedom with that (need to ask him about it!!!).

  2. custom music!! (picayune dreams ost is super inspiring and I wanna make something even a fraction as good as that!)

  3. Custom assets for the entire thing, no premade assets apart from sfx, even then, edit them.

  4. another idea is like again the 2d characters, that way I can have a lot of fun with the characters and make them very quickly rather than ever needing 3d models billboard actors essentially but I don't know how to animate them (and UE is terrible for animating 2d images!!!) this video by Jam2Go might help This might also be a good reference - Funi Racoon Game
